Colours for Summer 2011posted on 18 June 2011 | posted in BlogSo you stay ahead of the crowd, there are five main colour trends for jewellery this Summer: Silk Touch is a subtle combination of soft, neutral tones and porcelain skin tones. Try using jet black, chalk, pinks, gray, opals, tobacco brown, and lustre coatings. Fresh Mint is a combination of cool and fresh, pastel colours. Try silver, light gray, white, ivory, mint green, light sapphire, peridot and vitrails. The trick is to combine opaque, matt and transparent beads. Sea Flow is a combination of pale, washed out blues and darker darker blues such as navy and royal blue, against a white background. Just think of tropical beaches and make sure the blue beads are opaque. Fiery Glow is a summer's day where the rays of sunshine are substituted by gold reflections in the beads. Try rich combinations of lipstick red, lily orange, dark brown, purple and sun yellow. Perfect for evenings. The must have colour to use this Summer is Coral and the complementary colour to use with Coral is Teal. Share this blog entry: |
